Class A Permit
The first step to getting a Commercial License is making sure you pass the permit test. There are four test total that need to be completed including Class C. The handbook is a great way to obtain valuable information into this new career path.
ELDT Submission
Once the training has been completed it is optional but preferred for trainees to submit their ELDT hours sheets proving the required amount was completed.
Modernized Version
Starting July 10 the DMV implemented a change to the Pre-trip inspection test and the Skills test. To gain a better understanding of what is now required take a look at the new handbook focused on the changes that have been made.
Theory Online
In order to be able to take the driving test a Theory class has to be completed. A required score of 80% or higher on every test is necessary for it to be submitted. Once completed the results will be uploaded to the FMCSA.
